With everything you could need just a voice command away, Amazons Echo & Alexa devices have become a staple in the modern home and an essential part of peoples holiday homes and caravans.

1.0 – Updating your Amazon Echo or Alexa Device #

For best performance of your Amazon device we would recommend ensuring that the software is up to date on your device. To do this you simply need to say “Alexa check for software updates”.

2.0 – Connecting your Alexa to a ClubWifi Network #

2.1 – Connecting Your Alexa to a Paid Network #

In order to connect your Amazon Alexa Device to a pay to access network you would first need to locate the MAC address. To do this you would need to:

2.1.1 – Open the Alexa App on your Smartphone

2.1.2 – Select ‘Devices’ in the toolbar at the bottom of your screen

2.1.3 – Select Echo & Alexa

2.1.4 – Select the Alexa Device you are wanting to connect

2.1.5 – Select the Settings icon on the top right of the screen

2.1.6 – Scroll to the bottom and select About

2.1.7 The MAC address will then be shown on this page

2.1.8 Once you have this you can send it to us via our support form here. Once we have confirmed we have added it please follow the steps here to connect to the ClubWifi Network

2.2 – Connecting Your Alexa to a Free Network #

2.2.1 – Open the Alexa App on your Smartphone

2.2.2 – Select ‘Devices’ in the toolbar at the bottom of your screen

2.2.3 – Select Echo & Alexa

2.2.4 – Select the Alexa Device you are wanting to connect

2.2.5 – Select the Settings icon on the top right of the screen

2.2.6 – Select Change next to the wifi network

2.2.7 – Follow the on screen instructions to set up the new wifi connection using the password that the park can provide to you

2.3 – Connecting to a new WiFi network on Amazon Echo & Alexa #

2.3.1 – Open the Alexa App on your Smartphone

2.3.2 – Select ‘Devices’ in the toolbar at the bottom of your screen

2.3.3 – Select Echo & Alexa

2.3.4 – Select the Alexa Device you are wanting to connect

2.3.5 – Select the Settings icon on the top right of the screen

2.3.6 – Select Change next to the wifi network

2.3.7 – Follow the on screen instructions to set up the new wifi connection using the password that the park can provide to you

3.0 – Your Echo & Alexa MAC Address #

A MAC address is a hardware identification number that uniquely identifies each device on a network. We often use this to pre approve your device on our network. To find it you need to:

3.1 – Open the Alexa App on your Smartphone

3.2 – Select ‘Devices’ in the toolbar at the bottom of your screen

3.3 – Select Echo & Alexa

3.4 – Select the Alexa Device you are wanting to connect

3.5 – Select the Settings icon on the top right of the screen

3.6 – Scroll to the bottom and select About

3.7 The MAC address will then be shown on this page

4.0 – Rebooting your Amazon Echo & Alexa #

In order to reboot your Amazon Echo or Alexa device you simply need to turn the power off at the plug and back on again.
